pharmacy story 1

Today we had a male customer who walked in to the pharmacy with two prescriptions. The patient said he had insurance and i should process them through it. The first one was for oxycodone 30mg,a popular painkiller that is like synthetic heroin,(what else is new?) and the 2nd one was for Clomid. Let me share what clomid is used for . Clomid  is used to induce ovulation (egg production) in women who do not produce ova (eggs) but wish to become pregnant (infertility). Clomiphene is in a class of medications called ovulatory stimulants. It works similarly to estrogen, a female hormone that causes eggs to develop in the ovaries and be released.Hope you all got a laugh out of this one.
